This role focuses on advancing AI and machine learning applications in radiation oncology and radiology, collaborating with teams to develop automated tools for cancer care. Responsibilities Gain expertise in developing and validating machine learning and deep learning models for medical imaging and radiation therapy workflows Develop skills in high-performance computing, and software development Develop proficiency in interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific communication, and dissemination of research through publications and conferences Understand ethical considerations and regulatory requirements for AI in medicine, including global health equity implications Skills Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field At least 2 peer reviewed primary author publications in the last two years Mandatory expert level programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) Familiarity with medical image analysis and radiotherapy workflows Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language); ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international team Benefits Medical Dental Paid time off Retirement Tuition benefits Educational opportunities Individual and team recognition Company Overview Through generous funding from Susan G.
