Pharmacy Technician, Amazon Pharmacy

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join us in making it easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with health services, products, and professionals. This role offers a blend of on-the-road independence and in-pharmacy teamwork. You will be responsible for managing pharmacy kiosks, including driving to kiosk locations, refilling inventory, and maintaining kiosk machines, as well as preparing orders for customer shipments in our pharmacy. Key responsibilities • Drive from pharmacy to kiosk locations using a company vehicle • Refill kiosks with medications and supplies, and collect returns • Prepare inventory shipments for kiosk replenishment • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, as permitted by law • Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy environment • Ensure accurate medication dispensing and order processing • Operate machinery for sorting and packaging medications • Handle order transitions from initial dispense to quality control • Count, label, and package prescription medications • Ship orders and manage logistics • Support pharmacy staff with receiving, shipping, and inventory management • Maintain equipment and work areas • Work flexible shifts, potentially outside regular hours Physical requirements • Work shifts up to 12 hours, including driving for extended periods • Stand, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and stretch • Lift up to 49 lbs • Manual dexterity required Basic qualifications • Active in-state Board of Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one within 30 days • Active in-state Driver's License with a clean driving record • High school diploma or equivalent • 6+ months experience with computers and web tools • Effective communication skills in English Preferred qualifications • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) • Teamwork and organizational skills • Ability to recognize medications • Experience in fast-paced environments Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
