Part-Time Mental Health Provider (TalkNow) - Friday & Sunday (6am-4pm CST)

TalkNow is a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service that exclusively serves the higher education student & faculty population. As a part-time TalkNow Provider with TimelyCare, you will act as a primary form of emotional support for the students and members (i.e. faculty & staff) we serve. We are looking for providers who have successfully completed a masters degree in professional counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family therapist who have worked with populations in need of crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning. Location We offer a remote work environment. Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements, HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions, and successful completion of the credentialing, onboarding, and training programs. Adherence to HIPAA and compliance standards, and all policies / procedures required for this role. Schedule: Friday & Sunday (6am-4pm) (20 hrs. total) What You'll Do • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support (via phone, video, or chat) as needed for members using TalkNow services • Act as a primary mental health provider to support members with a person-centered, strengths-based approach • Collaborate with members to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments as needed • Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR) • Adhere to established standards for clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulations What You Bring • Completion of a Master's Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License is required • Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation • Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environment • Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner - PLUS Who You Are • Able to adapt to the needs of the members we serve • Able to use evidence-based modalities and active listening skills in order to build rapport and progress care • Able to remain calm and assess, triage, and document sessions with members who are potentially in crisis or are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation • Able to support members with professionalism, empathy, and an awareness of cultural humility Benefits + Perks • Bi-annual variable bonus eligibility • Phone reimbursement • 401(k) with employer match, eligible after 1 year tenure • Company issued computer equipment • Free access to TimelyCare's virtual medical and behavioral health support • Mission-driven company with a supportive team culture • Spot Bonus for Holiday Work - $250 • APA and ASWB sponsored CE opportunities • Candidate Referral Program $27,500 - $30,000 a year $27,500 Provisionally Licensed or Associates Licensed in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy $30,000 Fully Licensed in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy Bi-annual variable bonus eligibility Phone reimbursement 401(k) with employer match, eligible after 1 year tenure Company issued computer equipment Free access to TimelyCare's virtual medical and behavioral health support Mission-driven company with a supportive team culture Spot Bonus for Holiday Work - $250 APA and ASWB sponsored CE opportunities Candidate Referral Program Stated salary and shifts are non-negotiable at this time This is a remote position.
