Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our administrative support staff, you will be responsible for performing data entry and filing tasks, preparing reports, and providing exceptional support to our team. Key Responsibilities Performs data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files with high accuracy and attention to detail. Copies, collates, and otherwise prepares reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence in a timely and efficient manner. Performs other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Able to work between 16 - 25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess the following essential skills and qualifications: Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with high accuracy and speed. Ability to proofread and edit documents with attention to detail and a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Basic understanding of office equipment, including printers, scanners, and copiers. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to organize and prioritize work, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with database management and data analysis. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
