Job Overview As a Part Time Customer Service Agent and Ramp Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and ensuring the efficient handling of cargo and freight. You will work closely with our team to guarantee that our clients' shipments arrive safely and on time, driving a positive customer experience. This is a part-time position, with scheduled shifts ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Safely lift, load, unload, and transport cargo, mail, and freight to and from aircraft, as well as being responsible for on-time connections by directing arriving and departing aircraft from the gate positions. Protect Freight, cargo, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions. Safely operate and drive ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. Repetitively lift and load cargo onto trucks and ensure each package reaches its destination. Operate cargo scanners and computers to ensure items and freight are routed accurately to the passenger's destination. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Demonstrate that safety is paramount while handling personal information. Have basic computer skills. Have strong verbal communication skills. Ability to frequently lift packages or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds. Ability to occasionally lift packages or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds. Work a fixed as well as rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.
