Part-Time Content Publishing Assistant (Remote)
ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Content Publishing Assistant to handle the final editing, optimization, and publishing of 15 ready-written pieces of content per month (blog posts, articles, or similar). The writer provides the core text — your job is to polish it lightly, create simple supporting visuals, conduct quick research when needed, and publish everything with strong SEO in mind. This is an ongoing monthly role (not project-based) with a consistent, predictable workload. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (15 posts per month) -Perform light editing on the provided draft (grammar, flow, readability, tone consistency) -Create 1–4 simple images per post (using Canva, Photoshop, Midjourney, or similar — stock photos + text overlays, basic infographics, featured images, etc.) -Conduct quick fact-checking or additional research when the writer flags something (usually 5–15 minutes per post) -Upload the article to our CMS (WordPress or similar) -Write an SEO-optimized title, meta description, slug, and alt text for images -Add internal links, categories/tags, and any required formatting -Schedule or publish the post according to our content calendar EXPECTED DELIVERABLES -15 fully published, SEO-ready posts every month -All images created and uploaded -Posts live and indexed correctly with proper on-page SEO -Turnaround time: usually 24–72 hours per post once the draft is handed over (we batch-deliver drafts) COMPENSATION -Fixed monthly rate ($180/month) -Ongoing part-time role with no fixed end date (as long as the working relationship is smooth) Apply tot his job
