Work Schedule and Environment We offer a flexible work schedule, with hours of work being 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 4:30pm CST. The position can be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests in an expedient and efficient manner to meet client turnaround times, utilizing our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations. Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling, and taking the necessary steps to ensure they are processed correctly. Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, and supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements. Additional Responsibilities In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to: Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, providing feedback and support to ensure accuracy and consistency. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, and providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies. Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, and work collaboratively to resolve them in a timely and effective manner. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry/typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy. You must also be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and provide excellent support to your colleagues. Assessment Requirements If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, which will test your speed and accuracy. To be successful in this role, you will need to achieve a minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate.
