Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, your primary focus will be on accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. Your daily tasks will include: Entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests in an expedient and efficient manner to meet client turnaround times Navigating through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry Differentiating between various claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling Collaborating with other team members to ensure work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements Additional Responsibilities In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be expected to: Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims and authorizations according to established data entry guidelines Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Required Level of Experience We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role.
