Organized Retail Crime Analyst
About the position As an Organized Retail Crime Analyst, you will focus on defining clear product outcomes and vision while aligning with organizational goals and customer needs. This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do Review AP Alerts to identify individuals or group causing substantial loss to the enterprise. Analyze Organized Retail Crime related activities within the Best Buy Enterprise Gather all information pertaining to a case, (receipts, order information, video, reports, etc.), and compile the information into a spreadsheet or file for Investigators review. Aid in communication to Organized Retail crime Alliances and Law Enforcement of individuals or groups negatively impacting the company. Aid in the identification of opportunities causing losses and in the communication of corrective actions to various corporate business groups to create processes to minimize the impacts and risks of organized retail crime. Aid in the development and creation of ORC procedures Responsibilities • Review AP Alerts to identify individuals or group causing substantial loss to the enterprise. • Analyze Organized Retail Crime related activities within the Best Buy Enterprise • Gather all information pertaining to a case, (receipts, order information, video, reports, etc.), and compile the information into a spreadsheet or file for Investigators review. • Aid in communication to Organized Retail crime Alliances and Law Enforcement of individuals or groups negatively impacting the company. • Aid in the identification of opportunities causing losses and in the communication of corrective actions to various corporate business groups to create processes to minimize the impacts and risks of organized retail crime. • Aid in the development and creation of ORC procedures Requirements • 2 Years of criminal investigations experience. • 2 years of experience with Genetec systems. • Advanced Excel skills. • Proficient in Word, Power Point, and other systems used in analytics and report creation. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice-to-haves • Experience in navigating and utilization of the Auror Platform. • Experience in building case files for presentation to law enforcement.
