The Sales Manager plays a critical role in supporting franchise owners and their sales teams to drive consistent, profitable growth by serving as a virtual sales coach and trainer. This remote position requires periodic travel for onsite coaching and trainings, focusing on elevating sales performance across the franchise system. Responsibilities Sales Coaching & Performance Development Coach franchise owners and salespeople on Kitchen Tune-Up and Bath Tune-Up’s proven 5-step sales process Conduct virtual one-on-one and small-group sales coaching sessions Review sales performance, behaviors, and activity metrics to identify opportunities for improvement Provide actionable feedback, role-play scenarios, and skill development plans to improve close rates, average ticket, and customer experience Onsite Support & Field Coaching Travel to franchise locations as needed to provide in-field coaching and support Shadow sales appointments and provide post-call feedback and coaching Support new franchise launches, struggling locations, or targeted performance initiatives Reinforce best practices for in-home consultative selling Sales Management & Process Coaching Coach owners and sales leaders on sales management fundamentals, including accountability, pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-up Help franchisees build repeatable sales rhythms, meeting cadences, and performance expectations Support owners who manage sales teams but do not have a dedicated sales manager Training & Group Facilitation Lead virtual and in-person sales trainings for small and large groups Present at trainings, and annual conventions Develop and deliver engaging training content that aligns with system standards Adapt training delivery to different experience levels, from new hires to veteran salespeople Resource Development & System Support Create and maintain sales tools, coaching resources, and training materials Collaborate with the National Sales Director to evolve sales strategies and initiatives Serve as a trusted sales resource for franchise owners seeking guidance, clarity, or support Maintain consistency in messaging, methodology, and expectations across the franchise system Skills Proven experience in sales coaching, sales leadership, or sales management Strong understanding of consultative, in-home or B2C sales environments Demonstrated ability to coach both individual contributors and business owners Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including large-group training Ability to influence without authority and build trust remotely Coaching mindset with a passion for developing people Strong communication and active listening skills Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into clear actions Confident, credible, and adaptable training style Highly organized with strong follow-through Comfortable balancing virtual work with periodic travel High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience in Sales, Sales Coaching, Sales Management At least 1-3 years of experience in customer facing role, including sales, customer service, or coaching role Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience Experience in the kitchen and bath industry, home improvement, or remodeling is preferred but not required Comfort working in a franchise or multi-location environment is a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) Supplemental life insurance Annual discretionary bonus 401(k) retirement plan, which includes matching contributions equal to 100% of the first three percent of eligible compensation contributed and 50% of the next two percent 10 paid holidays 8 paid hours for associates to volunteer in their community Open time off to support work-life balance Company Overview Home Franchise Concepts is a franchisor selling window coverings and accessories.
