NAM MCU Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description Summary The Quality Assurance Specialist - Major Component Upgrade (MCU) Team is an integral part of the NAM MCU Team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of major component upgrades, with a specific emphasis on Core 100, quality reports, and main bearing brush checks. The specialist will work hand-in-hand with NAM Operations and NAM Project Managers to maintain high standards throughout the upgrade process. Job Description • Quality Reports: • Generate and maintain detailed quality reports for major component upgrades. • Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. • Present quality findings and recommendations to project teams and management. • Main Bearing Brush Checks: • Conduct thorough inspections and tests of main bearing brushes as part of the upgrade process. • Ensure that main bearing brushes meet specified performance and reliability standards. • Document inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. • Core 100 Quality Assurance: • Oversee the quality assurance processes for Core 100 components during upgrades. • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for Core 100. • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to address any quality issues related to Core 100. • Team Collaboration: • Work closely with NAM Operations and NAM Project Managers to ensure alignment of quality goals with project objectives. • Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related insights and recommendations. • Support cross-functional teams in achieving project milestones and deliverables. • Process Improvement: • Identify opportunities for enhancing quality assurance processes and procedures. • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the MCU Team. • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to component upgrades. • Stakeholder Communication: • Keep stakeholders informed of quality status, issues, and improvements. • Manage expectations and ensure that quality concerns are addressed promptly. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. • Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sector. • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards. • Experience with generating and analyzing quality reports. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. • Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: ineligible.
