Mortgage Loan Officer (Remote in GA, Commission, No Leads Provided, Training Provided)

Role Description This is an Independent Contract commission-based role paid W2 (Per B&F Regulations) located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area for a Loan Officer. The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, or recommending approval of loan applications for people and businesses. Daily tasks include meeting with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process, analyzing applicants' financial status and credit report to determine loan feasibility, and working with various departments to ensure loan compliance with regulations and standards. The Loan Officer will not process their own loans; loan processing goes through a third-party vendor. Leads are not provided; the Loan Officer must generate their own business contact/leads to obtain commission. Qualifications • Prior experience in the mortgage lending industry is highly beneficial, but we are accepting new loan officers (We offer a 3-day free initial training offsite for New Loan Officers with flight and hotel stay paid) • ***If you are not licensed, but are willing to get licensed in Georgia (take NMLS Loan Officer Course + Pass NMLS National Exam), upon passing exam, we will sign you up, offer free training, and after closing your first loan we will reimburse you up to $500 for your NMLS Loan Officer Course & National Exam with proof of documentation. • ***If you already have your Georgia NMLS license, we will offer you a $250 sign-on bonus credit that will be applied upon closing your first loan with us. • Knowledge and experience in Loan Origination and Underwriting practices is a plus but not required • Must be a Licensed/Active Loan Officer in the state of Georgia with a NMLS# • Familiarity with Calyx/Zenly is a plus, however, training is provided • Strong background in Finance and expertise as Loan Officers is a plus but not required • Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to explain a complex process clearly • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively, independently and remotely Pay Structure • Commission pay is based on experience • Job Type: Independent Contractor • Pay: $75,000.00-$200,000 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Work from home • Dedicated Processors • 3-day training (flight & hotel expenses paid) • Tiered Bonuses by Closed-Loan Volume • Online chat assistance Monday – Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 10am to 12 noon Work Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Work from home Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
