Location: Houston, Texas (Remote) Invoke—Microsoft Partner of the Year and among the top 0.01% of Microsoft Partners in the U.S. is seeking a talented professional for a full-time, mid-level role that bridges Microsoft Alliance Management and Marketing. This position will play a pivotal role in nurturing our strategic partnership with Microsoft while driving integrated marketing initiatives to fuel growth. You will serve as the primary liaison to Microsoft and also orchestrate Invoke’s marketing strategy – ensuring our joint value proposition with Microsoft is clearly communicated across campaigns, events, and content. This is not a people-manager role but rather an individual contributor position with broad scope and high impact, working closely with both external partners and internal teams. Responsibilities: • Microsoft Alliance Management: Serve as Invoke’s primary point of contact with Microsoft’s Global Partner Solutions and more specifically Microsoft Americas Enterprise Partner Solutions, while supporting close Invoke executive engagement with Microsoft’s leadership and Partner Development Manager. Nurture and expand the partnership by working with Invoke’s executive leadership to align Invoke’s goals with Microsoft’s programs and initiatives. Year over year growth of Co-Sell opportunity pipeline and managing partner funding programs and required metrics (e.g. securing and utilizing Microsoft Marketing Development Funds for joint campaigns, Jumpstart Programs, ECIF, MCI, EA Accelerate, etc.) to drive mutual success. Additionally, maintaining healthy partner metrics by which Invoke is measured on as a managed Enterprise SI (System Integrator) (e.g. Channel Partner of Record/CPOR, Partner Admin Link/PAL, Partner Award programs, MISA, etc.). • Marketing Strategy & Execution: Orchestrate Invoke’s overall marketing strategy and execution. Translate the Microsoft alliance strategy into integrated marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and content that generate demand for Invoke’s services. Ensure all marketing efforts – especially co-branded campaigns and collateral – clearly communicate the joint value proposition of Invoke + Microsoft to our target audience. • Agency Coordination: Act as the day-to-day coordinator for external sales & marketing agencies. Align with Invoke’s executive leadership to provide strategic direction and clear objectives to external agencies, ensuring their work (digital campaigns, content creation, event support, etc.) aligns with Invoke’s growth goals and brand. Foster a collaborative partnership with agencies by involving them in planning and encouraging proactive, modern ideas and continuous improvements in the age of AI. • Internal Evangelism: Champion Microsoft alliance initiatives internally at Invoke. Regularly update and enable our Sales and Product teams with information on Microsoft’s latest solutions, partner incentives, events, and how these offerings enhance Invoke’s own solutions. Evangelize and publish joint success stories and upcoming co-selling opportunities. Collect feedback and insights from the Invoke Sales and Product teams and share these with Microsoft to strengthen the alliance and influence future programs. General Requirements: • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field) and/or 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships/alliances, or related roles in the tech industry. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and present to both external partners and internal stakeholders. Confident in delivering presentations and leading meetings. • Organizational Skills: Strong project management and organizational abilities. Capable of managing multiple campaigns and partnership initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail. • Interpersonal Skills: Proven relationship-building skills. Able to cultivate trust and effective collaboration with external partners (like Microsoft and agencies) and internal teams (sales, delivery, product). A team player who can also work independently. • Adaptability: High level of self-motivation and initiative. Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving alliance programs or marketing priorities. Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Role-Specific Requirements: • Microsoft Partner Ecosystem Experience: Hands-on experience working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem. Familiarity with Microsoft Partner Center and managing Co-Sell motions with Microsoft is required. You should understand how to associate deals and customers through CPOR (Claiming Partner of Record) and PAL (Partner Admin Link) processes to get credit for influenced revenue and to unlock incentives. • Joint Marketing & Funding Know-how: Proven ability to plan and execute joint marketing initiatives with partners. Experience leveraging programs like Microsoft’s Marketing Development Funds (MDF) or other partner funding for co-branded campaigns is a strong plus. • Marketing Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using marketing and sales enablement tools and platforms. This includes CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce), marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics tools to track campaign performance. Ability to glean insights from data to optimize marketing efforts. • B2B Tech Marketing Acumen: Solid understanding of B2B marketing strategies, ideally in a technology or consulting context. Experience creating content and events that resonate with enterprise IT audiences. Knowledge of co-branding best practices and positioning joint value propositions in marketing content. • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date on Microsoft’s product offerings, partner programs, and incentive structures. Familiarity with cloud services and enterprise technology trends is beneficial to credibly represent Invoke’s Microsoft-aligned solutions.
