I am seeking a medical research assistant to review completed manuscripts for scientific accuracy, clarity, referencing, and journal readiness. This role is focused on medical research quality control, not rewriting content or introducing new hypotheses but happy to listen to reframe or suggestion ________________________________________ Responsibilities •Review medical manuscripts (approx. 2,500–4,000 words) • Check: o scientific logic and accuracy o clarity of argument o correct and appropriate referencing o consistency with journal standards • Flag unsupported or unclear statements • Suggest minor academic refinements only ________________________________________ Requirements • Background in medical research, sports medicine, pain medicine, neuroscience, or related fields • Experience with peer-reviewed medical journals • Strong knowledge of Vancouver referencing • Ability to respect clinician-led hypothesis research ________________________________________ Proof of Experience (Required) Please provide 3 published medical papers you have authored, co-authored, or reviewed (PDFs or journal links acceptable). ________________________________________ Project Scope • Initial review of one manuscript • Ongoing work available — multiple research papers planned ________________________________________ Budget • £80–£150 per manuscript review, depending on depth and experience ________________________________________ Important Note This role is to validate and strengthen existing manuscripts, not to rewrite clinical ideas or change hypotheses.
