HEDIS / Quality Improvement — Medical Records Collector Contract Length: 6-9 months (may extend up to 18 months or convert to temp-to-hire) Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (works in home timezone) Work Model: Remote — dual monitors + docking station required Education: High School Diploma or GED (required) Eligible Work States (must reside in one): AZ, FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, NE, NM, NY (outside greater NYC), OH, TX, UT, WA (outside greater Seattle), WI Job Summary The Medical Records Collector supports ****** HEDIS and Quality Improvement initiatives by coordinating outreach to provider offices and collecting medical records through phone, fax, mail, EMR retrieval, and onsite pickup when required. This role works collaboratively with national and regional HEDIS teams to ensure timely and accurate record collection and submission. Key Responsibilities Medical Record Collection & Outreach • Coordinate provider outreach, pursuit, collection, and upload of medical records into internal databases. • Retrieve medical records via phone, fax, mail, EMR system pulls, and occasional onsite pickup. • Participate in meetings with vendors supporting the records collection process. • Collect and load records into the HEDIS application; assist with data review and organization. Project & Process Support • Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and tracking record retrieval activities. • Support project timelines and deadlines in collaboration with HEDIS team members. • Assist managers and supervisors with preparation and execution of audit activities. • Perform chart review, scrubbing, renaming, organizing, and secure upload of files. Additional Notes • Onsite visits may be required for some assignments. • Work involves handling PHI in compliance with security and privacy standards. Required Experience & Skills • Minimum 1 year of related work experience • Customer service experience • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic data handling • Ability to manage schedules, files, and high-volume information efficiently • Experience contacting provider offices and working in chart retrieval processes Preferred Experience • Prior HEDIS or medical record collection experience (at least one season/year) • Managed care or health plan experience • Familiarity with HEDIS and NCQA standards Licenses / Requirements • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for occasional onsite record pickup) Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $24.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
