Role Description Mercor is seeking Mathematics Experts for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. In this role, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high-quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by coming up with difficult problems in your domain. Qualifications Masters or PhD in Applied and/or Pure Maths from a top US, UK, Australian, NZ or Canadian university High attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Excellent proficiency in English Requirements Flexible workload: must be able to contribute 20+ hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours Fully remote and asynchronous - work on your own schedule Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension Role Start Date This role will begin in early to mid-August with applications reviewed on a rolling basis Interview Process You will need to complete a short interview of around 20 mins to complete your application Compensation and Legal Details You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect
