Pinky Swear Foundation is a nonprofit that provides financial support to kids with cancer and their families. They are seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to help evaluate and strengthen their marketing efforts through social media engagement and media relations support. Responsibilities Monitor and engage with comments, partner organizations, and cancer-related influencers Serve as a point of contact for the development team on social interactions with third-party fundraisers Research social media best practices and make suggestions to marketing team Draft news releases and media alerts Support follow-up with journalists and media contacts Assist with organizing stories, photos, and quotes from families and partners Help track basic analytics for social media and media campaigns Provide support for events as needed Skills Proficiency and passion across all major social media platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube Highly collaborative, creative, curious, energetic, and self-directed with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail Commitment to Pinky Swear Foundation's mission, vision, and values Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in marketing, public relations or similar field or equivalent lived experience preferred Benefits Paid time off for Earned Sick and Safe Time Company Overview Pinky Swear Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and medical support services for children affected by cancer.
