Marketing and Membership Assistant (Part-time)

The Florida Justice Association is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Marketing & Membership Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, and thrive on exceeding member expectations. The role involves supporting marketing efforts and assisting with membership recruitment and retention campaigns. Responsibilities Assist with drafting, proofreading, and scheduling content for email campaigns, newsletters, and social media content Support production of marketing materials (graphics, flyers, brochures, event promotions, sponsor recognition) Help maintain brand consistency across all communications Track and report metrics on marketing campaign performance and engagement Assist with membership recruitment and retention campaigns, including member list management, outreach, and follow-up Prepare call sheets, reports, and materials for phonebanks and special initiatives Support member data entry, updates, and database maintenance Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with email marketing or CRM/database systems, a plus Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for content ideation and first-draft generation is a plus Interest in nonprofit, advocacy, or membership association work preferred Benefits Opportunities for growth and professional development within a respected statewide nonprofit organization Company Overview Dedicated to strengthening and upholding Florida's civil justice system and protecting the rights of Florida's citizens and consumers.
