About the Role As a Mandarin Bilingual Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the frontline ambassador for our members, medical facilities, transportation providers, and health plans. Your primary responsibility will be to handle inbound and some outbound calls, gathering and entering detailed trip information for scheduling non-emergency medical transports. You'll also be the go-to person for handling member inquiries, complaint intake, and providing top-notch support. Primary Responsibilities Taking inbound calls from Members, Medical Facilities, Transportation Providers, and Health Plans, ensuring timely and effective communication. Accurately entering ride details into our system to ensure successful ride completion and high member satisfaction. Confirming member eligibility and addressing any issues that may arise. Answering Member inquiries regarding transportation services, providing clear and concise information. Identifying and assessing Member's additional needs, working proactively to address them. Intaking of Member concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Actively collaborating with other internal departments to quickly address real-time issues and improve overall member experience. Other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: Fluency in Mandarin (verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively with our diverse member base. A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a solid foundation for your customer service career. At least one (1) year of inbound call center experience in a high call volume atmosphere, where you've honed your skills in handling a large volume of calls. Skills and Competencies We're looking for individuals with: Outstanding problem-solving skills, able to maintain professionalism in a high-stress environment. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to present and influence effectively in person, via email, and over the phone. A positive and helpful attitude, always looking for ways to improve the member experience. Exceptional interpersonal skills and conflict resolution ability, able to navigate complex situations with ease. The ability to work independently and/or as part of a Team, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative mindset. Accurate typing skills at 35 wpm or more, ensuring efficient data entry and minimal errors. Flexibility to adapt to changes in business, strategy, and technology, staying ahead of the curve. The ability to empathize with Members and/or their guardians, providing personalized support and care. Remote Work Requirements If you're working remotely, you'll need: A well-lit, dedicated, and quiet workspace, free from interruptions and distractions. A Notebook or Desktop computer with a minimum processing speed of 1.6 GHz and 16 GB usable RAM available. High-Speed Broadband service (wired only) with a minimum of 150 Mbps in a dedicated environment or 300 Mbps if in a shared environment. Having a backup internet provider is a plus!
