About the Role As a Mandarin Bilingual Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the frontline ambassador for our members, medical facilities, transportation providers, and health plans. Your primary responsibility will be handling inbound and some outbound calls to gather and enter detailed trip information for scheduling non-emergency medical transports. You'll also be addressing member inquiries, intake complaints, and working closely with internal departments to resolve issues promptly. Primary Responsibilities Taking inbound calls from Members, Medical Facilities, Transportation Providers, and Health Plans to gather information and provide support. Accurately entering ride details into our system to ensure successful ride completion. Confirming member eligibility for transportation services. Responding to Member inquiries regarding transportation services, providing clear and concise information. Identifying and assessing Members' additional needs and coordinating with relevant teams. Intaking Member concerns and complaints, resolving issues where possible, and escalating when necessary. Collaborating with other internal departments to quickly address real-time issues and improve member experience. Performing other duties as assigned by management to support the team and the organization. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Fluency in Mandarin (verbal); the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking members. A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus. At least one (1) year of inbound call center experience, preferably in a high call volume environment; experience in a healthcare or customer service setting is highly valued. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; the ability to present and influence effectively. A positive and helpful attitude, with a customer-centric approach. Exceptional conflict resolution and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse populations. The ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. A typing speed of 35 wpm or more; proficiency in using computer systems and software. Preferred Skills and Competencies While not mandatory, having the following skills and competencies will make you a more competitive candidate: Experience working in a remote or flexible work environment; ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision. Familiarity with healthcare or transportation services; knowledge of medical terminology is an asset. Previous experience with CRM software or similar technology; ability to learn new systems quickly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Empathy and understanding; ability to empathize with members and/or their guardians.
