Job Summary The Manager of Customer Experience Strategy at Home Depot is a key role that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Manager Strategy - Customer Experience, you will be responsible for developing and executing our company's interconnected business strategy, focusing on identifying market opportunities, leading strategic projects, and ensuring alignment across various functions to enhance customer experiences. You will also create presentations and materials to communicate insights and strategies to senior leadership, influencing change within one of the world's leading retailers. Key Responsibilities Market Intelligence and Analysis : Stay abreast of external developments to identify opportunities and threats in competitive and market intelligence, leveraging internal and external research to develop insights and solutions. Strategic Problem Solving : Address business problems by structuring issues and prioritizing analyses during the planning process, using strong skills in quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and strategic problem solving. Communication and Storytelling : Create compelling documents and presentations for executive audiences, communicating insights and strategies to senior leadership and influencing change within the organization. Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead and manage cross-functionally, driving one or more interconnected strategy and operational execution workstreams, and ensuring alignment across various functions. Project Management : Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Requirements Age and Work Permit : Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States. Work Experience : Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience in a strategic or analytical role. Skills and Competencies : Strong skills in quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and strategic problem solving, as well as excellent presentation and communication skills. Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and manage cross-functionally. Drive and Ownership : High degree of drive and personal ownership, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ambiguity and Confidentiality : Comfort with framing and addressing ambiguous challenges, and a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Nice-to-Haves Previous Work Experience : Previous work experience in world-class retail or ecommerce, or in professional services such as strategy consulting, private equity, or investment banking supporting retail/ecommerce businesses.
