About the Role: Manager, Provider Service Our Provider Service Team is at the heart of our mission, fostering strong partnerships with healthcare providers to ensure they can focus on delivering exceptional care to our members. As the Manager, Provider Service, you will play a pivotal role in driving this effort forward. You'll be responsible for leading a team of Provider Satisfaction Specialists, managing day-to-day processes, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance the provider experience. Key Responsibilities and Impact Provider Experience: Ensure we continue to deliver on our mission in a scalable and sustainable way, focusing on creating a superior provider experience. Team Leadership: Lead a team of onshore Provider Satisfaction Specialists and provide daily direction, leadership, and oversight to an offshore vendor. Call Center Operations: Own the inbound and outbound Provider Call Center experiences, including Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), 1/1 Readiness, and daily provider calls. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the organization, including Clinical, Network, Claims, Member Operations, Provider Data, and Utilization Management to drive strategic priorities and initiatives. Innovation and Improvement: Relentlessly pursue opportunities to provide a better provider experience, anticipate issues, and innovate processes. Provider Manual: Provide input and improvements to the external-facing Provider Manual to communicate Devoted's policies effectively. Expertise Development: Develop expertise in all areas of Devoted Health's Provider Service team. Ad Hoc Projects: Work on ad hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you should have: Previous Health Plan Experience: A background in health plan operations, with a deep understanding of the industry. Provider Services and Call Centers: Experience working in Provider Services and managing call center operations. People Leadership: Proven track record of leading direct reports and managing teams. Medicare Advantage Knowledge: Familiarity with Medicare Advantage programs and operations. Offshore Vendor Management: Experience managing, training, and monitoring offshore vendors or teams. Strategic Planning and Execution: Strong ability to estimate, plan, and execute large-scale, time-sensitive initiatives in a matrixed environment. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following skills and experience can make you a more competitive candidate: Program/Project Management Experience: Five or more years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the healthcare industry. Claims Knowledge: Understanding of claims processing, revenue cycle, and related operations. Training Experience: Background in training, especially for offshore teams. Process Improvement: Passion for process improvement and efficiency, with the ability to predict and prevent roadblocks. Compensation and Benefits Our Total Rewards package includes: Competitive Salary: A salary range of $75,805 - $94,569 per year, with opportunities for growth within the role.
