About the position The Manager of ESG & IR will have primary responsibility for ESG strategy implementation while supporting investor relations activities. Understanding of the company's operations, risks, financial profile and growth prospects is critical to the role. Additionally, the Manager of ESG & IR is expected to work collaboratively across the organization domestically and internationally, contributing to the development and execution of cohesive & compliant global ESG reporting, recognition and communications strategies by engaging cross-functional teams, partnering with Investor Relations, and leveraging external vendors. This individual will need to understand the varying external reporting requirements and ensure that UGI is in line with expectations. Responsibilities include preparation of ESG communications and UGI's annual ESG report, building relationships with ESG rating agencies, outreach to ESG investors, leading the audit/review process of all figures included in UGI's various ESG initiatives, and participation on UGI's internal ESG strategy committees. Responsibilities • Assist in developing, implementing, and managing the company's comprehensive ESG strategy and roadmap • Lead ESG reporting and disclosure processes, including sustainability reports and frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) • Coordinate ESG data collection, monitoring, and analysis across departments • Assist in developing innovative approaches to evaluate and interpret ESG data to better support corporate strategy, minimize risk, and increase stakeholder value • Develop, manage, track and update key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to internal targets and public goals • Maintain industry benchmarking and trends • Conduct materiality assessments to identify priority ESG issues • Collaborate with operations teams to implement sustainability initiatives • Stay current on ESG regulations, trends, and best practices • Engage with ESG rating agencies and respond to ESG-related inquiries • Create compelling, evidence-based, written and visual summaries of sustainability performance for both internal and external audiences • Provide input on UGI's internal and external sustainability communications strategy • Help address investor questions related to ESG matters • Support the Investor Relations team in areas such as gathering market intelligence data, preparing investor presentations, engaging with investors, and managing investor events Requirements • BA (or equivalent) emphasizing Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Sustainability-focused Studies • MBA or CFA preferred • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in corporate finance, engineering, or similar function • Demonstrated broad and accurate perspective on business affairs • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills • Proven ability to read, analyze, interpret and translate large sets of data into simple insights or reports • Demonstrated experience influencing without formal authority to accomplish company-wide goals • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a diverse work group involving significant outside contacts • Ability to advance projects independently Benefits • Medical, Vision, and Dental Plans • Optional Health Savings Account • Optional Dependent Care Savings Account • Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave • Work from home policy • Employee Assistance Program • 401K with a generous company match • Tuition Reimbursement • Assistance with Professional Credentialing • Referral Bonuses • Employee Discount Programs Apply tot his job
