Maintenance Reliability Engineer
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer for a month-to-month temporary assignment to support our facility operations and asset management programs. You will be responsible for evaluating equipment health through advanced diagnostic data and refining maintenance strategies to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. Core Responsibilities Vibration Analysis: Read, interpret, and analyze vibration data to identify rotating equipment faults and predict potential failures. MCSA Analysis: Analyze Motor Circuit Analysis (MCSA) data to assess the health of electric motors and identify electrical or mechanical issues. Maintenance Plan Review: Evaluate existing preventive and predictive maintenance plans for technical accuracy and effectiveness. FMEA Execution: Lead and perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on critical assets to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Continuous Improvement: Utilize data-driven insights to recommend equipment upgrades or procedure changes that improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Reporting: Generate technical reports summarizing findings, equipment health scores, and recommended actions for the site management team. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or a high-level maintenance technician role within a complex industrial or commercial facility. Technical Skills: * Proficiency in vibration analysis software and diagnostic tools. Strong understanding of motor theory and MCSA interpretation. Experience facilitating FMEA sessions and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Certifications: CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CRL (Certified Reliability Leader) preferred. Education: B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of direct field experience in reliability. Physical Requirements Ability to work onsite 40 hours per week in a facility environment. Must be able to access mechanical rooms, rooftops, and tight spaces to collect data or inspect equipment.
