You’ll be responsible for making tech support and employee benefit articles LLM-friendly via NLP-aware editing. Your focus will be on modifying existing articles to support LLM pickup, specifically for retrieval and utilization by RAG, GenAI agents, GenAI assistants and custom GPT, and enterprise search technology. You’ll provide training to authors and cross-functional teams on strategies for optimizing their articles for RAG retrieval and will retrofit published articles to achieve the same outcome. In partnership with the Content Strategy Manager, you’ll support recurring knowledge base projects including, but not limited to: Localization Resource library migrations (internal and M&As) Content audits Responsibilities Transform ad hoc IT support content into structured, modular articles with atomic steps, decision trees, and normalized terminology. Ensure each article answers a clearly scoped question. Design and deliver employee enablement on creating documentation that’s useful for both humans and AI tooling. Define templates for common article types and coach authors to align with these standards. Audit responses and tool calling to ensure accuracy of information retrieved by GenAI tools. Flag and resolve missing steps causing models to hallucinate workarounds. Author and train AI-based writing assistants for non-technical users. Develop GenAI agents to audit content. Establish content standards for writing with machines as a primary audience. Implement findings from annual content audit, engineering and CMS updates, and end-user feedback. Review chat logs, search queries, and deflection metrics to identify content gaps. Propose and prioritize content changes based on measurable impact. Ensure that content is easy to find, understand, and utilize for our end-users and GenAI tools. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align runbooks, manuals, and team-specific content to NKP LLM-first documentation standards. Qualifications Your strongest qualification for this position will be a background editing technical documentation that feeds chatbots, virtual agents, or LLM-based tools. Required Native or equivalent proficiency in English Ownership of a content schema, information architecture, or documentation standards for large enterprise or complex organizational environment Expert proficiency in writing documentation for internally developed search and chatbot tooling Experience implementing conversational design for content used by chatbots and LLM tools Ability to teach beginner authors and AI users how LLMs parse and use text Exceptional familiarity with AP Style or similar in-house style guide Ability to balance multiple content editorial projects with varying deadlines Excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills Experience building content in a content management system (CMS), preferably Contentful Comfortable giving and receiving editorial feedback Preferred Familiarity with data analytics platforms, preferably Tableau Familiarity with AI observability tools for prompt management, evaluation, and data handling Pay Rate Range $75-90/hr.
