What You'll Do As a Junior Planner - Investigator Meetings, you will be responsible for: Managing attendee inquiries and providing exceptional customer service Coordinating travel bookings in collaboration with travel booking teams Managing rooming lists and liaising with preferred ground, DMC providers, or third-party vendors Ground transportation management and coordination Cvent attendee management, including website build and onsite management Assisting with meeting materials updates and visa letter management Transfer of value reporting management and post-event attendee management Managing sign-in sheets and Cvent On Arrival usage for onsite sign-in at meetings Ordering meeting supplies as needed Attending meeting client calls as needed Assisting with attendee communications, including invitations, reminders, and final confirmation emails Working on special projects as assigned by team leadership Traveling to destinations worldwide in support of client site inspections and/or program operations (up to 40% travel required) What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications 2-4 years of meeting coordination experience Pharmaceutical meetings attendee management experience preferred 4-year degree preferred CMP designation preferred Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management and clients Neat and professional appearance Ability to work accurately and timely to meet deadlines Ability to be flexible and handle change well Proven skills for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills required Microsoft Word and Excel experience - Advanced level Experience with meeting industry technology required (CVENT) Advanced oral and written presentation skills required Preferred Qualifications Experience with pharmaceutical meetings and events Knowledge of event planning principles and practices Experience with event management software and technology Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Amex GBT, we are committed to helping our colleagues achieve success and grow in their careers.
