You will identify gaps in Best Business Practice Metrics (BBP’s), and then work with all levels of Global Business Owners in establishing and executing a strategy for improving them. You will assess the Current state of Operations; Develop Future State vision and drive and monitor the implementation plan.How you will do itAs a Global Continuous Improvement Manager, you will coach the CI team, Six Sigma/Lean Implementers (MBB, Black Belts & Green Belts), to apply correct approach /DMAIC tools for improvement.Establishing CI Profit Plan and subsequent forecast goals; driving the team to achieve is important.You will ensure Process Owner involvement in SOW development and team leadership, be responsible for IDP and succession planning for all CI resources, including Six Sigma/Lean ImplementersYou will also be responsible for developing a “pull’ system to replace BBs with qualified “management-potential’ personnel.You will be using standard tracking and reporting systems, prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product/process quality and savings goals.Collaborate with leadership to develop a CI Roadmap, driving breakthrough or best-in-class performance that balances resources between internal business efficiency and external customer-focused effectiveness projects through:Six Sigma projects methodologies (fit for purpose)You will assist Business Owners in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve JCI.You will be accountable to deliver annual CI goals, assist in relevant JCI action items/activities as pertains to your knowledge/skill set and technical ability.What we look for*Required:– Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and minimum of 5 years’ related experience- Black Belt with global experience in managing Six Sigma team’s & implementing process improvement projects.- Advanced presentation skills to convey information and ideas in a compelling and impactful way.- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority globally.- High-level of performance in current and previous positions.- Experience in implementing Six Sigma programs & principals globally.- Has shown initiative, the desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectations.- Has solid leadership skills and able to manage both vertically and horizontally.- Possesses advanced statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects.- Possesses advanced computer skills (Microsoft suite, Minitab, Vizio, etc..)Preferred:– Has sufficient experience within the Company to be able to understand the organization and its business processes.- Master Black Belt with global experience in managing Six Sigma team’s & implementing process improvement projects#LI-Remote #LI-KP1*Johnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to r ace, color, r eligion, s ex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, s exual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
