Monroe Christian School in Elmwood Park, IL is looking for one remote it support to join our team. We are located on 2920 N Harlem Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable. Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and chat for hardware, software, and network issues. ? Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals. ? Assist with system setup, configuration, and maintenance for end-users. ? Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various IT systems. ? Guide users through troubleshooting steps and escalate complex issues as necessary. ? Maintain detailed records of issues, solutions, and IT assets using ticketing systems. ? Provide training and support to users on new technologies and best practices. ? Collaborate with other IT teams to implement solutions and updates. ? Ensure security protocols are followed, including password policies and data protection. Qualifications: ? Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role. ? Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. ? Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and AWS. ? Experience with networking concepts (VPN, firewalls, routers, TCP/IP). ? Proficiency in remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop). ? Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ? Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently in a remote environment. ? Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals (preferred). Preferred Skills: ? Experience with ITSM ticketing systems like Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Freshdesk. ? Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation tasks. ? Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection measures. ? Ability to support mobile devices and applications (iOS, Android). We are looking forward to receiving your application.
