As a Line Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft electrical and electronic systems, working closely with our Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) team to guarantee the airworthiness of our fleet. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft electrical and electronic systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems. Comply with all internal Alaska Airlines policies and procedures, as well as regulatory workplace rules, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to attendance reliability policies and procedures. Exercise the authority of an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)/FCC in signing the Aircraft Maintenance Log for Airworthiness Release or Return to Service of an aircraft or aircraft component. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience on commercial heavy stream aircraft and/or military aircraft. Solid knowledge of aircraft systems. Ability to lift 70 lbs consistently. Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and handle. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures. Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license. Valid FCC license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire. Must have a valid and operable driver's license. Flexible to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to communicate in English. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 18. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of aviation technician experience. Experience using schematics and wiring charts.
