As a Customer Service Associate, you'll play a vital role in achieving this mission by: * Greeting customers with a smile and a friendly demeanor * Processing transactions accurately and efficiently on our POS register * Maintaining a clean and organized store environment * Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented in an attractive fashion * Assisting customers with propane needs and other services offered at our locations Essential Functions and Duties As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be responsible for the following essential functions and duties: * Friendly, outgoing, and helpful attitude * Ability to process transactions with accuracy and speed * Willingness to take direction from your Supervisor and work as a team with your co-workers * Physical demands include constant standing, ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds, frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continued use of fingers, arms, and hands * Working conditions include indoor and outdoor environments in both hot and cold weather, possibly around chemicals and fuel/fuel fumes Benefits As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Full-time employees working at least 30 or more hours per week will be eligible (after a waiting period) for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance * Vacation will begin to accrue after 6 months of employment for full-time employees * Employees receive a discount on our in-house Aztec Grill food * 401(K) with employer match * Paid sick time About Us blithequark was founded by Peter Van Alyea with his purchase of a single gas station in the early 1970s in Marin County. Since then, we've grown to 24 retail gas and convenience store locations, 16 of which are home to our Aztec Grills where fresh food items are prepared daily by our grill staff. Our brands, Redwood Market and Aztec Grill, are synonymous with quality and customer satisfaction.
