JA5-Videographer-Ottawa Jazz Festival
Ottawa Festival Network is seeking a Videographer for the Ottawa Jazz Festival. The role involves preparing and editing creative videos for promotional purposes across social media channels and the festival's website, collaborating closely with the marketing team. Responsibilities Work with the marketing team to develop promotional videos that incorporate the approved Festival image Work daily and very closely with the Director of Marketing and marketing team to ensure approved images, graphics, and other visual elements meet deadlines. All graphics are approved by senior managers before being implemented Edit artist performance videos for the Festival’s social media channels Outputting deliverables as needed Use Premiere & After Effects to design/edit short video ads, stories, and animations Is current in the latest trends and eager to learn and develop best practices as digital marketing continues to evolve Follow strict public health and safety guidelines and office safety policies in the office and during the Festival All other duties as assigned Skills Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Photoshop is mandatory Be a team player Training or previous experience in video editing or fine arts Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure An unemployed job seeker or those employed less than 20 hours per week A resident living in Ontario who is legally authorized to work in Canada Meet at least 1 of the following criteria: Has an established Employment Insurance (EI) benefit period, Previously established an EI benefit period that has ended within the previous 60 months, Paid employee EI premiums (e.g. Box 18 on the T4) in at least 3 of the last 10 years while earnings have been at least $2000 in each of those years Persons currently enrolled in full-time academic studies are not eligible for consideration Company Overview Ottawa Festivals is a not-for-profit service organization dedicated to providing support, presenting a united voice, and creating an effective networking environment for festivals, special events and fairs in Canada’s Capital Region.
