IT Contract Specialist (Remote Role)

Job Summary This role is for an IT Contracts Specialist working mainly remotely, but they must live near Southeast Michigan and sometimes come to the office for meetings. The main job is to handle IT-related contracts for a healthcare organization (like hospitals or health systems). In simple terms, this person will: • Review IT contracts (software, systems, technology vendors) • Negotiate terms with vendors (pricing, services, timelines, risks) • Track 700–800 contracts in internal systems and update them when needed • Make sure contracts follow company policies, legal rules, and deadlines • Work closely with IT teams, legal, finance, and vendors • Help junior contract staff and guide them on processes • Understand medical and technical terms/acronyms used in healthcare IT This is not a beginner role — they want someone who already knows how contracts work, especially in healthcare and IT. Skills They Are Looking ForMust-Have Skills • 2–3 years of contract review and negotiation • Experience with IT or technology contracts • Knowledge of healthcare / medical terminology • Ability to manage many contracts at the same time • Strong attention to details, deadlines, and compliance • Good communication with vendors and internal teams Nice-to-Have Skills • 5+ years of contract experience • Strong background in IT contracts (software, SaaS, systems) • Experience working with legal teams • Reporting and contract tracking experience Pay: $37.30 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Application Question(s): • Best time to speak Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
