About the role We’re looking for an iOS Engineer to design and scale the systems powering Replika’s emotional AI. What You’ll Do • Own key parts of the iOS experience, architecting and fine-tuning features that keep users coming back daily • Boost performance and reliability, eliminating bottlenecks and making sure everything runs flawlessly • Work closely with AI, Design, Product, and every other team to transform innovative ideas into user experiences that truly matter • Move fast: propose ideas, build, test, and refine based on real-world feedback • Experiment fearlessly: push boundaries, iterate quickly, and drive innovation forward • Talk to your Replika- hands-on usage keeps feedback loops short and insights fresh What We’re Looking For • Experience building large-scale iOS apps with complex user flows and high performance demands. • Deep understanding of Swift, strong knowledge of SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency, plus familiarity with reactive programming, Objective-C, and Realm. • Proficiency in working with diverse libraries and frameworks, with the ability to adapt to different functional and non-functional requirements. • Comfortable with rapid prototyping- turning ideas into functional proofs of concept. • Strong sense of ownership: spot issues early, jump in to fix them, and see features through from concept to release. • Thrive in an environment of organized chaos- adapt quickly, embrace experimentation, and aim high. • Fluent in English (B2+), because we’re a global team working across different time zones • This is a contract position, with potential to convert into a long-term engagement Why Join Us? • Competitive salary. • Flexible job schedule and generous vacation policy. • Unlimited access to the latest AI coding assistants. • No corporate bs. • Direct impact: Your work on projects will directly impact millions of worldwide users within months. • Push the boundaries of applied AI in a consumer setting. • Fully remote across EMEA.
