Investigations Lead (Remote Eligible) - Part-Time or Consultant Status
About the position Mathematica is seeking an Investigations Lead to oversee and manage the planning and implementation of investigations into potential noncompliance with federal healthcare program requirements. This role involves engaging with external contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of investigations while maintaining high standards for conducting investigations and preparing reports. Responsibilities • Leads the investigation functions of a project, including the review of dispensers, pharmacies, and manufacturers' practices to ensure adherence to federal statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements. • Manages investigators and develops necessary investigation processes to ensure timely, thorough, and unbiased investigations. • Develops an investigation strategy and approach to ensure investigations are completed in accordance with contract timelines and quality standards. • Collaborates extensively with clients, partners, contractors, and external stakeholders. Requirements • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience with leading large, complex investigations in a regulatory or government setting. • Knowledge of federal healthcare regulations, especially those related to pharmaceutical pricing and compliance with government programs. • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
