International Tax Preparer (CPA or Enrolled Agent) Are you an experienced tax preparer ready to take on new challenges in international tax preparation? Highly self-motivated to learn international tax. We’ll support you by providing time, resources and feedback, but your learning will initially be largely self-directed. Have excellent Excel skills. We do a lot with formatting and formulas and spreadsheets with lots of tabs. Pivot tables, macros, large data mining skills are great but not necessary for our work. Love learning new things and when you don’t know the answer, also love asking questions and researching. Really enjoy using technology to make your work easier. We’re a paperless firm and we use a number of cloud-based tools to manage our work. Are internationally minded and culturally competent. German language skill is a bonus, but not required as long as you’re willing to learn how to understand German tax forms. What We Offer Fully remote part-time job with flexibility within our core hours of 9am to 6pm M-F. We have a daily huddle at 9:30am est., Monday – Thursday. All employees are expected to participate in the huddles and to participate in a home/virtual office setting. Pay is $27-$35/hour with participation in a bonus program for senior preparers. We start credentialed tax preparers at $27/hr and offer a structured path to increase hourly pay as new international tax topics are mastered. Training and support on international tax preparation and a structured path to increase compensation as new knowledge is gained and new skills are mastered.
