Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Specialist to provide expert guidance and support to teachers, administrators, and staff in educational settings. As an Instructional Specialist with Workwarp, you will be responsible for modeling and demonstrating effective instructional strategies, co-planning and co-teaching lessons, and facilitating the implementation of core literacy teaching and learning practices to increase student achievement. Key Responsibilities: Provide job-embedded support to new and experienced teachers, teams of teachers, and administrative staff by modeling and demonstrating effective instructional strategies, including the effective use of technology in the classroom. Co-plan and co-teach lessons with teachers to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Facilitate the implementation of core literacy teaching and learning practices to increase student achievement. Assist professional staff in monitoring the literacy instructional program across all curricular areas, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation of progress and achievement. Collaborate with teachers, especially new teachers, regarding classroom implementation of differentiated literacy instruction, effective teaching strategies, and implementation of digital classroom technologies. Mentor and assist new or re-assigned teachers to ensure continuation of programs and instruction. Locate and provide supplementary materials and resources for classroom instruction. Plan and facilitate curriculum in-service meetings and attend regularly scheduled meetings, professional development, and trainings as assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned by Administration. Essential Qualifications: Valid Illinois Teacher's License. Master's Degree in Education or Curriculum and Instruction preferred. Five years of successful teaching experience with excellent evaluations and/or recommendations from professional associates, employers, and/or supervisors. Demonstrated success using best instructional assessment and practices and differentiated instruction in K-8 classroom setting. Experience with the delivery of professional development to adult learners and the ability to develop and implement plans for instructional improvement. Ability to work with administrators and teachers in a collaborative manner. Provides support and monitors the implementation of the use of digital classroom technology. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with educational technology and digital classroom tools. Familiarity with literacy instructional programs and curriculum design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
