About the position The Infrastructure Portfolio Manager / Project Manager I (EPMO) is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering distinct projects through all specific phases, in alignment with business and enterprise strategies. This role provides leadership, direction, and coaching to teams while partnering with business and executive stakeholders within a single or across multiple Lines of Business (LoB). The position typically manages projects with low regulatory oversight and a low to moderate risk profile, leading the delivery of Tier 4 / 5 projects with low complexity. The manager may indirectly oversee a LoB project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs, and Technology resources, and may manage several small projects simultaneously, generally with short-term time horizons. Responsibilities • Plans, manages, and delivers distinct projects through all specific phases. • Provides leadership, direction, and coaching to teams. • Partners with business and executive stakeholders within a single or across multiple Lines of Business. • Manages projects with low regulatory oversight and low to moderate risk profiles. • Leads the delivery of Tier 4 / 5 projects with low complexity. • Indirectly manages a LoB project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs, and Technology resources. • Manages multiple small projects at any given time. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required. • Project Management Certification preferred or relevant Project Management methodology experience. • 5+ years relevant experience. • Comprehensive knowledge of project management practices, procedures, and principles. • Exposure to financial management regarding tracking, forecasting, and managing project budgets. • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners. • Ability to think strategically and possess strong business acumen. • Proven ability to stay focused under pressure and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations. • Strong leadership skills and ability to champion change. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, and Power BI. • Experience in technology infrastructure and/or project management. • Experience in creating ad hoc reports and presentations for executive management. • Self-starter with a collaborative/team player mindset. • Strong investigative skills with the ability to problem solve. • Ability to assist in liaising between I&E, P&T, and the business segment. • Experience in tracking remediation activities to reduce technology debt.
