Fluxion AI – Consulting Associate (Industrial Research & Strategy) Fluxion AI is an industrial intelligence company building AI-native solutions to optimize complex physical systems. From next-generation port logistics to adaptive steel manufacturing, we partner with critical infrastructure operators to design and deploy data-driven strategies that unlock resilience and efficiency at scale. Alongside our private-sector work, we also advise public institutions across multiple levels of government on modernization, automation, and digital transformation. The Consulting Associate program offers early-career students an intensive introduction to industrial research consulting at the intersection of artificial intelligence, strategy, and applied problem-solving. Associates join multidisciplinary teams to conduct sectoral analysis, support client engagements, and contribute to proposal development, directly informing Fluxion’s research pipeline and consulting practice. Key Responsibilities Conduct structured industry and market research in domains such as logistics, transportation, manufacturing, and public infrastructure Analyze industry reports, academic literature, and regulatory documents to generate actionable insights for consulting projects Support proposal development and pre-award activities, including tender reviews, compliance documentation, and partner mapping Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support contract lifecycle management (e.g., NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts) Assist in preparing cost models and supporting reviews for large-scale public- and private-sector engagements Draft strategic recommendations, whitepapers, and market briefs aligned with Fluxion’s AI and consulting strategy Present research findings to senior consultants, technical leads, and client-facing teams Contribute to the design and testing of new consulting frameworks and methodologies for industrial intelligence Ideal Candidate Profile Currently enrolled as a second-year undergraduate, third year undergraduate or Master's Student student at an accredited university Passionate about consulting, applied research, AI, and industrial systems Strong analytical and communication skills, able to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights Adaptable, detail-oriented, and motivated to work across disciplines Experience in research, student consulting projects, leadership roles, or case competitions is a plus Comfortable working remotely, managing deliverables independently, and collaborating asynchronously across time zones Program Overview Format: Remote, project-based consulting internship Timing: Fall 2025 (flexible start and end dates aligned with academic calendars) Commitment: Approximately 10–15 hours per week Compensation: Unpaid, but includes: • Direct mentorship from Fluxion’s founding team • Contribution to tangible consulting deliverables • Certificate of completion and formal performance feedback Opportunities: Strong performers may be considered for continued co-op or extended consulting roles beyond the fall term Apply tot his job
