Job Type Full-time Description Position Overview The Industrial Engineer will play a pivotal role in advancing DwyerOmega's operational excellence agenda and supporting the company's global operations transformation efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations Integration and Transformation, this position is ideal for a forward thinking engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and is energized by opportunities to shape the future state of manufacturing operations. The role blends analytical rigor with practical execution, supporting both ongoing plant initiatives and enterprise level transformation efforts, helping to ensure that facilities and processes are aligned for long term operational success. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Layouts and workflows: • Develop and optimize manufacturing plant layouts to support efficient material flow, safety, scalability, automation and long term operational strategy. • Design, analyze, and refine production workflows to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance process reliability. Production Line Relocation & Consolidation: • Plan and execute the movement of production lines, ensuring seamless transitions, minimal disruption, and alignment with business objectives. • Support consolidation initiatives by evaluating capacity, capability, and cost considerations to recommend optimal configurations across facilities. Operations Integration: • Integrate operations from newly acquired companies, harmonizing processes, standards, and performance expectations across the network. • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and consistent operational practices. Facility Certification & Compliance: • Contribute to facility certification efforts by ensuring adherence to internal standards, customer requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks. • Document processes, layouts, and workflows to support audits and certification activities. Continuous Improvement & Lean Practices: • Conduct value stream mapping activities to identify improvement opportunities and guide cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes. • Promote lean manufacturing principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline across the organization. Requirements Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing environments, ideally with multi site or integration exposure. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across functions and levels. • Familiarity with lean methodologies, facility layout tools, workflow analysis and process optimization techniques. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
