I need a Google Ads Manager - US Based
We are looking for a highly experienced Google Ads Manager to take over and improve an existing Google Ads account for a local plumbing company. The account was previously managed by another agency and already has active campaigns, historical data, and location based targeting in place. We need someone who can step in, evaluate what currently exists, and determine whether optimization, restructuring, or partial rebuilds are the best path forward. This role is focused on performance. That may mean optimizing current campaigns, rebuilding certain parts of the account, improving keyword and negative keyword strategy, refining ad copy, adjusting bidding strategies, strengthening location targeting for the service areas being covered, and if neccessary, building an entirely new campaign. You should be comfortable making judgment calls on what to keep, what to improve, and what to replace based on data and best practices. Experience with local service businesses is important, especially plumbing or home service companies where lead quality matters more than volume. You should understand search intent, emergency versus non emergency queries, service based keywords, and how to structure campaigns to generate high intent calls and form submissions. After the initial work is completed, there may be a need for ongoing optimization and performance monitoring. This could turn into longer term work depending on results and fit, but the immediate focus is on improving the account and setting it up to perform efficiently. Please share examples of Google Ads accounts you have managed, particularly cases where you took over an existing account and improved performance for a local or service based business. Experience expanding campaigns into new locations or service areas is a plus. We are not looking for a beginner or a generalist. We are looking for a Google Ads specialist who knows how to step into an existing account, make smart decisions, and drive better results for a local plumbing company. Apply tot his job
