[adinserter block="1"] Job title: CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER Company: Huntington Ingalls Industries [adinserter block="1"] Job description: Job Description Assist the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) with developing and aligning sustainability ambitions and strategy with business objectives, investor relations, and various sustainability councils/working groups/initiatives to ensure progress towards objectives in all focus areas. In coordination and consultation with internal partners and external service providers, establish a clear and prioritized activity roadmap that successfully delivers the Company's ambitions, including changes in policies and/or processes, alignment with external benchmarks, and proactive engagement with key internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate regular sustainability-related activities across the organization (e.g. sustainability website, annual integrated report and updates, as needed, internal reporting, as determined by the CSO, etc.) Partner with various business and functional leaders and with external service providers to ensure systematic and accurate collection and reporting of key KPIs and identify proactively new KPIs required to meet sustainability requirements Engage with the broader sustainability community/associations/trade groups to build partnerships and share best practices Work across the businesses to inform and educate, and ensure key stakeholders understand the role they (or their teams) play in sustainability. Assist in developing appropriate external communications regarding the Company's sustainability strategy and progress Manage external resources to provide subject-matter expertise, where necessary. Consistent engagement with the various rating agencies (CDP, S&P, Sustainalytics, ISS, etc.) Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Energy, ESG, Sustainability, or Liberal Arts (or the equivalent in education, training and experience) and 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master's degree and 6 years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Ability to understand global ESG/Sustainability and decarbonization standards, for example, but not limited to GRI, SASB, TCFD Knowledge of EHS management systems Understanding of social return on investment (SROI) or equivalent Ability to conduct/manage social and environmental impact assessments Digital Transformation Req ID: 29267 Department: N358 LEGAL Entity: HII SERVICES CORP (0520) Travel Required: Yes, 10%-25% of the time Shift: 1st Relocation: Relocation assistance will be available Education: Bachelor's Degree Virtual/Telework Opportunity: Yes - Occasional or hybrid telework available US Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Clearance Type: No - Clearance Not Required to Start EEO Statement: HII is an Equal Opportunity/Vets and Disabled Employer.
