Join Our Team: Human Resources Consultant - Remote Providence is seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our One HR team on a remote basis. As a strategic consultant, you will provide expert guidance to local HR and business leaders on employee and labor relations matters. Job Summary As a Human Resources Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on employee and labor relations issues. Your expertise will help us maintain a positive and productive work environment, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic guidance on employee and labor relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management Develop and deliver training programs on HR policies, procedures, and best practices Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify trends and patterns, and develop critical interventions to address them Conduct non-complex investigations and provide recommendations for resolution Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Provide expertise on federal and state employment laws, JCAHO, CMS, OSBN, OSHA, and other healthcare-related agency requirements Participate in affirmative action planning and ensure data integrity Requirements: 2 years of professional human resources experience in a similar role Experience working in a multi-site, multi-line of business, or integrated health system environment Demonstrated experience in one of the following specialty areas: labor relations, ADAAA, Leaves of Absence, Affirmative Action, mediation, or organizational development Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field SPHR or PHR certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe) Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations Experience with HR systems and technology Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Providence, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our caregivers.
