HR Benefits Consultant Needed for Strategy & Support
We’re a growing small business seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Benefits Consultant to help us evaluate, implement, and manage a comprehensive employee benefits strategy. This role involves researching benefit plans and regulations, presenting tailored options, overseeing implementation, and developing a long-term management approach. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research on current benefit plan options (health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, etc.) Analyze federal and state regulations to ensure compliance Present a clear comparison of benefit platforms and providers suitable for small businesses Recommend cost-effective, scalable solutions aligned with our team’s needs Lead implementation of selected benefits platform, including vendor coordination and employee onboarding Develop internal processes and documentation for ongoing benefits administration Advise on long-term strategy for benefits management and employee engagement Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in HR benefits consulting, especially with small businesses Strong understanding of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance requirements Familiarity with platforms like Gusto, Zenefits, Justworks, or similar Excellent communication and presentation skills Strategic thinker with hands-on implementation experience Project Scope: Start date: Ideally within the next 1 - 2 weeks Duration: Initial engagement of 6 - 8 weeks, with potential for ongoing advisory support To Apply: Please include: A summary of your experience with benefits strategy and implementation Examples of past work with small businesses Your availability and estimated timeline for project completion.
