By joining the Amedisys team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits and opportunities, including: Competitive salary: $105,000 - $115,000 per year Full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans Paid time off and up to $1,300 in free healthcare services per year Up to $500 in wellness rewards for completing activities during the year Mental health support, including up to five free counseling sessions per year 401(k) with company match Family support, including infertility treatment coverage, adoption reimbursement, and paid parental and family caregiver leave Fleet vehicle program and mileage reimbursement Responsibilities As a Home Health Care Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Recommending employment decisions for staff to the director of operations, including hiring, firing, advancing, promoting, or changing status Ensuring overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides Organizing clinical operations for the care center Reviewing requests for services and determining patient eligibility and suitability for home care services Overseeing scheduling, payor verification, and precertification requirements Reviewing documentation of other staff members and ensuring missing, incomplete, or untimely documentation issues are resolved Assisting clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals, setting priorities, and developing Plan of Care (POC) Regularly evaluating patient needs and making necessary revisions to the plan of care in collaboration with clinicians Participating in the on-call process and assisting with training of staff to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility Investigating and resolving patient/family/physician concerns Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice One year of RN management experience Current CPR certification Skills and Competencies To excel as a Home Health Care Manager, you'll need: Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Compassion, empathy, and respect for patients and families Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits Amedisys is committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
