Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional Designer to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality learning solutions that meet organizational needs. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the creation of effective instructional materials for diverse audiences, ensuring optimal learning experiences that align with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: • * Design and develop engaging, learner-centered instructional materials including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments. • * Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content is accurate and aligns with organizational goals. • * Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning gaps to recommend appropriate learning solutions. • * Implement instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to ensure the effectiveness of training programs. • * Continuously assess and improve existing learning materials and programs to maintain relevance and effectiveness. • * Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to course development and training outcomes. • * Use multimedia tools and technologies to create interactive and engaging learning experiences. • * Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and eLearning technologies. • * Provide support in the delivery and evaluation of training programs, ensuring a seamless learning experience for all participants. • Required Skills and Qualifications: • * Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or related field. • * Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software. • * Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies. • * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively. • * Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in uploading and managing courses. • * Strong attention to detail and ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content. • * Ability to analyze complex content and transform it into learner-friendly materials. • Experience: • * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in an eLearning environment. • * Experience with developing training programs for diverse audiences, including corporate employees, educators, or learners in specialized industries. • * Proven ability to create effective instructional materials from concept to implementation. • Working Hours: • * Full-time, remote work. • * Flexible working hours to accommodate team collaboration and client requirements. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • * In-depth knowledge of instructional design models and eLearning development tools. • * Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • * Skilled in using multimedia software to enhance learning experiences (e.g., video editing tools, graphic design tools). • * Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. • * Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills. • Benefits: • * Competitive salary. • * Flexible working hours and remote work opportunities. • * Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. • * Paid time off and holidays. • * Professional development opportunities and career growth support. • * Access to cutting-edge instructional design tools and technologies. • * Collaborative and supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance. • Why Join: Joining our team at New York City Jobs offers you the opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing organization.
