• This is a remote position on Zoom and candidates must be available at 9:00 am -10:45 am Phoenix/MST time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Responsibilities Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following: • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University. Course Description This course introduces the study of history as a scholarly discipline, emphasizing significant historians, subdisciplines of the field, and the foundational methodological and theoretical tools of historians. Qualifications • Professional or Teaching experience required • Preferred: PhD in History • OR Masters in History with Research coursework • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field possessing either: 9 graduate credits in History and substantial teaching experience.
