Role Description The consultant will support the third-year CDC CoAg management, including communication with the donor and coordination of activities. The projects to be managed include: • Projects funded directly through the third-year of the CoAg (September 2025 – September 2026), including Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) for Mpox (monkeypox) response, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH), and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). • Multisectoral cholera response projects and an Ebola response project funded through an immunization CoAg. The consultant will be supervised by the WASH Specialist and work under the overall guidance of the Associate Director Health. Qualifications • Education in Public Health, Civil Engineering, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), or related fields. • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in humanitarian WASH programming. • Proven knowledge of WASH roles and interventions in public health emergencies. • Experience supporting or implementing WASH responses in public health emergencies is considered an asset. • Strong project coordination and organizational skills. • Experience or familiarity with CDC-funded projects and funding management is an asset. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. • Flexible and adaptable work approach, with the ability to collaborate within a team and respond effectively to emerging needs and priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Requirements • Completed profile in UNICEF's e-Recruitment system. • Upload copy of academic credentials. • Financial proposal that includes: • Costs per each deliverable and the total lump-sum for the whole assignment (in US$). • Travel costs and daily subsistence allowance, if internationally recruited or travel is required as per TOR. • Any other estimated costs: visa, health insurance, and living costs as applicable. • Indicate your availability. • Any emergent/unforeseen duty travel and related expenses will be covered by UNICEF. • At the time the contract is awarded, the selected candidate must have in place current health insurance coverage. • Payment of professional fees will be based on submission of agreed satisfactory deliverables.
