We are a newly formed cooperative LLC based in Boston, Massachusetts, operating in the technology and innovation sector. Our business is 50% woman-owned and jointly owned by Latino and Asian entrepreneurs. We're committed to creating employment opportunities and workforce development. What We Need • Research and identify 15-20 grant opportunities that match our business profile (woman-owned, Latino/Asian-owned, cooperative, Boston-based, technology/innovation, workforce development) • Highlight the top best bet opportunities with brief reasoning for each • Provide basic application requirements and key dates for each opportunity • Potential to continue with grant writing if interested Deliverable: One comprehensive spreadsheet/report Timeline: 1-2 weeks Estimated Hours: 5-10 hours What We Offer • Clear information about our business and mission • Responsive communication throughout the project • A focused, well-defined project scope • Potential for future work as we secure funding and grow • Strong testimonial and referral if your research leads to successful grants Qualifications: Must Have: • Grant writing/research experience (at least 2 years) • Familiarity with small business grants • Knowledge of the Massachusetts funding landscape (MGCC, MassCEC, Workforce Training Fund, etc.) • Experience with minority-owned and/or woman-owned business grants Nice to Have: • Experience with cooperative businesses • Success with technology sector grants • Workforce development grant knowledge • Access to grant research databases How To Apply: Please provide the following in your application, sent to [email protected], with a brief background and information about your experience.
