Key Responsibilities • Listen to audio files carefully and transcribe spoken content into written text with high accuracy. • Identify and tag different speakers in multi-speaker audio recordings. • Accurately differentiate between spoken content, background noise, and non-speech sounds according to project guidelines. • Apply specific linguistic and formatting rules consistently throughout all transcriptions. • Review and edit own transcriptions to ensure grammatical correctness, proper punctuation, and adherence to client specifications. • Manage time effectively to meet transcription deadlines and quality metrics. • Participate in ongoing training and calibration sessions to maintain high quality and consistency. • Provide constructive feedback on project guidelines and tools to improve efficiency and quality. Required Skills • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Strong listening skills and ability to discern spoken words clearly. • Proficient typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 WPM recommended). • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to follow complex instructions and guidelines meticulously. • Reliable internet connection and a personal computer with a headset. • Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently in a remote setting. • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with web browsers and text editing software.
