About this Role Triodos Bank is seeking a dynamic and hands‑on Fund Manager to further lead and develop its impact investing activities. This role manages two cornerstone funds, Hivos‑Triodos Fund (HTF) and the Nature‑Based Solutions Impact Platform (NBSIP), with a combination of strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and investment oversight. As the Fund Manager, you will ensure compliance with high impact and environmental & social standards, collaborating with various stakeholders to drive climate resilience and inclusive growth. This position also involves significant partnership‑building across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, primarily focusing on sectors that advance sustainable agriculture, forestry, and nature restoration. Responsibilities • Drive the strategic and financial performance of HTF and NBSIP. • Oversee and participate in the investment process from pipeline development to portfolio monitoring. • Engage in fundraising and investor relations with public and institutional investors. • Ensure compliance with high impact and environmental & social standards. • Build and maintain key partnerships across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. • Coordinate with finance, risk, legal, compliance, and communication teams for effective fund operations. Requirements • At least 10 years of experience in fund, portfolio, or investment management in impact investing or development finance. • Proven expertise in nature‑based investments, including sustainable forestry and agriculture. • Strong background in ESG integration and Environmental & Social Management Systems (ESMS). • Academic degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration; CFA or MBA preferred. • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. • Located in Europe and willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
